Scholarships
High School age volunteers can earn a letter of recommendation for their resume. Minimal requirement is, continuous attendance at our functions for a 3 month period of time. If a volunteer shows interest in a career in Special Education, they will have met this requirement, and can be recommended for a scholarship from UCP.
We at Abled Network, welcome Seniors and Disabled Vets who want to volunteer, or join us in crafting and outings. Their knowledge and expertise helps bring our programs full circle, by offering new experiences to our clients.
Socialization, helps us all grow, while listening to amazing stories and having fun.
Clients are always welcome to bring a staff or family member to attend our activities.
Our goal at Abled Network, is to enhance the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. We strive to promote independence and pride in their achieved accomplishments. We believe the pathway to success, is to offer essential life skills, and a competitive work and learning environment, that will be enhanced by their participation in integrated community and recreational activities.
